St Dogmaels (Llandudoch in Welsh) is a friendly village in north Pembrokeshire, West Wales. It sits on the Pembrokeshire bank of the Teifi estuary, just across the river from Cardigan, and is the starting point of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Within a short walk of the centre you will find a ruined abbey, a working water mill, a pub, a fish and chip shop and a handful of shops and cafes. A few miles further on are Poppit Sands, dramatic cliffs and some of the best wildlife watching in Wales.
This guide is written by the owners of Rose Cottage, a holiday cottage in the village. We have been enjoying the area for years and have tried to be honest and practical.
