Y Felin is a traditional water mill on the edge of St Dogmaels, still producing stoneground flour the old way. It is a short walk from the village centre and the abbey, and is a great stop for families and anyone interested in local food and heritage.
What to see and do
- See the waterwheel and mill machinery at work (when the mill is running).
- Buy freshly milled flour to take home.
- Enjoy a drink or bite to eat nearby, then continue on to the abbey.
Visit the mill's own website for opening times, events and baking courses: y-felin.com.
Stay in the village. Rose Cottage is a short walk from the mill and sleeps up to 8. Check availability.
Opening times change throughout the year. Please check before you travel.
